Farm Bill

Join Our Campaign for a Just and Sustainable Food and Farm Policy

Nearly $300 billion in taxpayer dollars is at stake in the Farm Bill over the next five years. With two Californian Congressional Democrats taking over leadership of two key House Ag Subcommittees, California food, farming, health, environmental, and nutrition groups can play a pivotal role in shaping the upcoming Food and Farm Bill.

The California Coalition for Food and Farming and the California Food and Justice Coalition are working to bring urban and rural constituencies together to rally California Congressional support for Farm Bill legislation that embraces our vision for a more just and sustainable agriculture and food system.   We invite California farmers, eaters, NGOs, businesses, academics, students, state and city agencies, industry associations, and others who share our goals to join us.
